(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter had cut her leg on rocks at the beach and we took her straight to the emergency department as it was evident she probably required stitches. As soon as we arrived, she was taken in and seen by the most loveliest nurse named Helen. My daughter has anxiety and was quite hysterical and Helen was amazing at calming her down and explaining to her what was happening at every step. She was patient, reassuring, caring and absolutely wonderful managing my daughter's fears and also ours too! I can’t speak highly enough about the amazing care we were given which was largely due to Helen’s beautiful nature. I am very grateful for the wonderful service we received.

I was sorry to read of your daughter's accident, as a parent myself I know how stressful it can be to see your child hurt and in pain. I am so pleased the team, particularly Helen, were able to provide the calm and reassurance your daughter needed to ease her anxiety and make her comfortable.
