About: Carnarvon Hospital / Emergency Department Coral Bay Nursing Post Royal Flying Doctor Service

(as the patient),

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Ryan, the nurse on duty in the Coral Bay Nursing Post, and to Dr Geoff, Dr Natalia, Nurses Rachel, Renea, and Kevin in the Carnarvon Emergency Ward, and Royal Flying Doctor Service team Dr Luke, Pilot Damion and Nurse Ally.

This team provided me with the most incredible medical attention, care and professional service imaginable after I was bitten by a sea snake recently in Coral Bay.

I am not sure if I’m notifying the right people in this communication, however, I needed to go on record with how impressed and grateful I am. This once again reinforces why Australia is one of the greatest countries in the world, and what makes Australians such outstanding people.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful compliment on Patient Opinion. I certainly agree Australia is the lucky country and we have access to some of the best healthcare in the world. Your positive experience is a great example of the work our teams do every day. The teams at the Coral Bay Nursing Post and Carnarvon Hospital strive to provide professional patient centred care and it is through feedback such as yours that reinforces that we are doing it well. I will take great pride and delight in passing on your lovely compliment and acknowledgement to our very committed frontline staff with a special mention to Ryan, Dr Geoff, Dr Natalia, Nurses Rachel, Renea, and Kevin. I will also pass your compliment on to the team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
