I was give a script by my doctor in hospital. I went to the pharmacy and felt staff were very reluctant to help. They told me that the medication was not available at first and when I told them I did actually see it the day before, the pharmacist goes - let me check again- and there and behold they found it.
Then the pharmacist told me that preparation of the medication will take a long time and it is better for me to go to a private chemist. When I said I am happy to wait it seemed the pharmacist took forever to prepare it even it was not a busy time. Then half way through another lady comes and says they have to dispense the medication in 14 patches, which would cost me $6.40 X 14.
I believe this very disappointing and unethical. I wish someone cares to check.
