My mother was taken to RPH in an ambulance after a fall which resulted in a bang and cut to the head and lots of bleeding.   Was initially uneasy as RPH do not always get great press, but could not have been more impressed.   Facility may be dated, but feels very clean and well-cared for.   ED was well run and communication was good.  Staff outstanding - Tom the Triage nurse, Amy (nurse inside), Alice (treating doctor) and the overseeing doctor and junior doctor all very kind, caring and professional.   Excellent attention and communication.   My mother's care was well explained and I was given clear instructions on any problem areas to look out for.   Thank you RPH.

It is pleasing to read that you had such a great experience when you attended our hospital with your mother. As you highlight, our buildings may be a little dated, but we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of service to our patients and their families.
