About: Box Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I have had chronic pain for 10 years and after a minor fall I pulled a 10 because of the pain, which I have seldom done before and was referred by a GP to be checked out in detail at Box Hill.

After a smooth and friendly run through all the tests I was put in SSU.

There it was confirmed nothing major was wrong, but it became clear the doctors here had an understanding of chronic pain (still quite rare) - had me relaxed, comfortable, able to breathe and able to walk around.

Everything was right with the world again and I was discharged.

To all staff involved - Great work and thank you
