Fantastic staff

"Fantastic staff"

About: Sale Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My child cut their head open and I took them straight up to emergency.

We were seen by the triage nurse Tom straight away and he was absolutely fantastic with my child.

He made my child feel comfortable and gained their trust before he did anything and in return we had a very calm and happy child even with a split in their head.

We didn’t have to wait long, but Tom checked on us through the short wait.

Once in with the doctor, she was absolutely fantastic with my child and myself also. Explaining everything and gaining my child's trust before doing anything. 

We went home within an hour of arriving and my child proudly told me in the car ‘that was fun mum’.

Without the fantastic care of your staff, we would not have had such a calm and happy experience. Thank you!

I would like to convey my heartfelt thanks to you for taking the time to provide us with such positive and inspiring feedback on your experience in our Emergency Department.

I am even more excited about your child’s comments regarding the “fun” involved in the visit.

I will be sure to pass on your feedback to Tom and the ED team as I am certain your story will be hugely rewarding and uplifting for the staff.

As a health service, our goal is that all our patients would have an experience like yours. It is gratifying and humbling to hear of the positive impact we can have in our patient's lives.

Whilst we would love to see you again, let’s hope it's not too soon.
