Mid last year, my grandmother was rushed here to Fiona Stanley Hospital by an ambulance after suffering a stroke at home and a heart attack in the ambulance and sadly passed away about a week later. She was awake and alert on arrival but her condition deteriorated as the week progressed and it became obvious she was going to pass.
The whole time (including when she passed) my family and I were at the hospital by my grandmother's side. The whole time we were there, my grandmother and us family members were treated by staff with the most warm, caring, compassionate, and respectful manner we could receive. Nothing was ever too much for the staff. They took the time to listen to us, even when we were telling a story about something my grandmother had done in her life, the staff were only too happy to listen.
I would like to thank all staff for being such wonderful staff and thank them for everything they did for my grandmother.
"Fantastic care"
