"Dog bite to the lip and stitches"

About: Pemberton Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I received a dog bite to the lip while down in Pemberton over the last school holidays.   It occurred at the Pemberton water hole, where we went for a dip after a morning of riding the bike trails.   I could not be more happy with my experience at Pemberton Hospital.   There wasn't a queue (like Perth).   A nurse checked in on me within 10 minutes of arrival to assess my situation.   I received 5 stitches to my lip and left within an hour.   The nursing staff and doctor were courteous and professional.   My lip has healed well (thanks to the great stitching).   I have absolutely no complaints.
