The Roadmaps program has returned to my community for a short refresher course. I am very proud to say and to share the news that I have not used Ice for more than 2 months. Previously I was a regular and consistent user and always in some sort of trouble. 

The short version of how this happened is from me attending the Roadmaps Program. I was treated with respect and valued as a person. This was a whole new experience for me and it started me thinking that if they value me maybe I should or could start valuing myself. 

The case workers asked me how I have done it and I told them - it's common sense, you's rammed it into me that much it stuck. We all had a laugh together. They are so proud of me and that is a new experience as well. 

I never came into the program expecting this outcome, my court matters have finished, and I don't plan on going back. The Roadmaps Program taught me that I can do things different in my life, make different and better choices and I am.

I manage the process of writing reports for the organisation's funding bodies, administer the client data system and prepare and analyse client data for reporting purposes.

Congratulations on making such positive changes to your life. I am glad to hear that the Roadmaps program was able to assist in this change process - but in the end, it is your hard work that makes the difference.
