My dad is in care in Glenarm nursing home in Kerang and the staff do a wonderful job there. When l am away on holidays or ill l don't have to worry about my dad because he is very well looked after there. Today we had the annual Christmas party and it was lots of fun and was a fantastic day. Congratulations on a wonderful facility.

Dear craftysue,

I too attended the Glenarm Christmas party yesterday and agree that it was lots of fun. The variety of music and entertainment and the jokes were all fantastic, and I loved looking around at all the residents with their families, happy and relaxed. The hairdresser told me she had started doing peoples hair yesterday morning at 6am, and everyone was dressed to the nines, looking fabulous, with their hair done and best outfit on. What an occasion- it is really the one day not to miss in Glenarm!

Thank you for taking the time to write about the care that your father receives in Glenarm. It is lovely that you commented that you don't worry when you go away or cannot attend because you know he is well looked after. This is the ultimate compliment that you can give our staff and our facility and I would like to thank you for trusting us to care for your father. It is not an easy thing to trust people who we may not know to care for the ones that we love.


I will pass on your comments and appreciation to the staff in Glenarm, and know that they will be thrilled with your observations.
