Earlier this year my husband had surgery for a hernia in Traralgon. This was his second procedure in two years and what an improvement after being disappointed with district nurses at the time in 2016.   This time we  were very pleased with the Hospital in the Home program provided by a fantastic group of nurses from the Wonthaggi Hospital. I don't believe this service can improve as it was fantastic. My husband was very happy and did look forward to their visits everyday. Great work.

The HITH nurses will be so chuffed to receive your feedback - thank you for taking the time to let us know your experience. The HITH program is a marvellous service that ensures people receive skilled and expert acute care support in their own home. I hope your husbands recovery is smooth and whilst I am very sorry you had a disappointing experience in 2016, I am glad this was not the case recently. Thanks again for taking the time.
