The staff could not have been more caring or attentive. I traveled unaccompanied from regional Australia for cataract surgery and needed to stay 3 nights before catching the plane home. Ward 1 became my temporary home and I received the most professional care from the nurses in charge. On departure day my nurse even accompanied me to Macquarie Street and helped find a taxi for me.

Without exception I was given the most gentle, kind and efficient treatment delivered with genuine care and delightful humour. Thank you to all.
