"Selby Older Adult Mental Health Service"

About: Older Adult Mental Health Selby Lodge

(as a relative),

My mother was admitted to the care of Selby Lodge late 2018.  I would like to thank all the staff for looking after my mother while she was there.  In particular I would like to thank Dr Tracy.  We were told my mother had alzheimers/dementia by the medical staff in a different hospital, but something didn't sit right with us.

So when my mother was moved to Selby Lodge, Dr Tracy immediately took so much more interest with my mother and was keen to find out what was causing the problems, but not to the extent it would impact my mother's health.  Dr Tracy always kept in contact with the family and was happy to have conference calls to explain what is going on.

I wish more doctors in hospitals would take the time to talk to families of elderly patients.
