"Lack of support"

About: Headspace Southport

(as the patient),

Honestly, at my lowest in life, involved with wrong crowds and suicidal thoughts, I went to ask for a psychologist at Headspace and honestly the staff in the intake team were so rude. And a couple of others on intake telling me I have ASD (autism spectrum disorder) which I don’t, telling me I should go to NDIS (national disability insurance scheme) or that plus social I have no one to talk to only friends and family but I need a psychologist. It’s honestly, in my opinion, so horribly run.

Hello Depress patient

Thank you for your story.

I am deeply concerned that this has been your experience at Headspace and that you feel at your lowest in life. We would love you to contact one of the Headspace managers so we can support you through this experience. To connect to this support please contact Louise Davies on 5509 5900.

Warm regards

Gerard
