Recently, I had been coughing for about 15 hours after having a sip of water. As I suffer from idiopathic lung fibrosis, my wife was concerned that I could be doing further damage.
I was interviewed by Scott who was very efficient, after which he said the staff were making sure I had a bed to lie down on while the doctor checked me out. I was then directed to a very nice lady who took my Medicare/private health details. She wished me a happy birthday as she noticed it had been a few days before, which to me showed she was looking at all details. Very good.
I was then taken to the emergency dept. and I was seen by a nurse whose name I did not get, who took details and proceeded to check my oxygen level, blood pressure and pulse. Following this, a doctor whose name my wife said was Abdul checked me over. His whole demeanor gave both my wife and I great confidence, but he was straight to the point and not over the top. He gave me some instruction as I could not make contact with my specialist.
Overall the service I received was first rate and all the staff should be complimented for the way they handled my problem. Please pass on a big thank you to them all.
