(as the patient),

I had a cyst on my inner left knee. I was so happy to leave hospital after 2 weeks. It was then that Hospital in the Home took over my care. I cannot praise this service high enough. Highly professional and very friendly and personable - exactly what a patient needs to help alleviate any stress and anxiety. So very relieved this service is available to the Phillip Island residents if needed. Please, please, please continue this service and the girls / ladies who run and work within it.

Hello happycystcare,

Thank you so much for providing this lovely feedback. I can promise you that the HITH program is here to stay and we have a strong vision to grow this service even more. We know that most people would much rather be at home than in a hospital and so whenever it is safe to do so, we will aim to facilitate this home-based acute care option. We are extremely lucky to have such highly skilled nurses in this team - they do a wonderful job providing care to people in their own homes and I know they will be really thrilled to receive this feedback - thank you! I know cysts can be very troubling. Wishing you all the best with your continued recovery.
