Felt poorly with influenza and high temp all day; needed some help as I had taken all possible meds I could.
Antiemetics given with effect and thanks. IVC (intravenous cannula) inserted by MO (medical officer) Bill.... excellent.... perfect aseptic technique . 1 litre of NS (normal saline solution) brought pain and temp down a notch and just gave me a tad more energy to get through. Lovely, professionally staff who surely had more pressing cases to deal with besides me, but still cared for me. Thank you
I certainly left better off, didn’t bring any additional bugs home and hopefully didn’t leave mine behind.
