"My drug and alcohol addiction/long term use"

About: Lives Lived Well – Transitional Housing Logan House Residential Rehabilitation Facility

(as a service user),

After my long time drug use I went to Logan House last year. Upon completing the 6 weeks program I went back to my old environment. Needless to say I stopped the drug use, but relapsed on alcohol. A month late, I knew I needed to return to Logan House for a further 12 weeks of treatment. This time after I completed the Logan House program I decided to go to Transition House, for further 6 weeks support. While at Transition House I had the support I needed to gain more skills how to live life after rehab. I found Branka to be very supportive and she helped me with accommodation search, guidance, case management, and the groups she runs are informal and supportive. I would highly recommend people move to Transition House and get that extra support.

Hello pyxisje37

Thank you for your story about your engagement with drugs and alcohol and how you have attended Lives Lived Well's Logan House as part of your recovery journey. It is great that the Transition House has been such a positive bridge for you and that through staff such as Branka you have found the support and knowledge you needed. Well done for persisting through it all and for coming back and doing it again.

I wish you all the best in your life ahead.

Warm regards

Gerard
