"Joondalup ED"

I took my father to Joondalup ED after he had a fall recently. He had a large haematoma on his forehead above his right eye and sore elbow and shin. Mostly the damage was to the head. I had only just picked him up from the airport earlier that morning, after leaving and returning to my home he unfortunately, whilst getting changed, had a fall.

We arrived at ED at around 9. 15am, it was quite busy and more patients arriving. We saw a clerk within  around 20 minutes, she was very polite and well spoken. We then took a seat and waited. Dad was not nauseous or in great pain surprisingly, so we would have been lower on the priority  list I think. We had quite the wait, with a lot of ambulances arriving, so many emergency patients. 

I would like to thank all of the wonderful staff, they work tirelessly in a high pressure environment. All were very helpful and polite. Professional and diligent. Sure it was a long wait but they looked after my father well and do a great job under so much pressure. Thank you so much.
