"Lack of care"

About: Bunbury Hospital

(as a relative),

My sibling  was asked to arrive at Bunbury Regional Hospital in the early morning. They were put into a robe, and told they will be seen within the hour. 5 hours pass, and my sibling was moved to the children's ward yet they're a young adult - felt very degrading.

7 hours pass, and they still had not heard a single thing! It had made my sibling very agitated and frustrated.

Until they were walking out to leave, the nurse demanded my sibling return to their room. My sibling said they would like to self discharge against advice. They were told to wait for a surgeon.

Surgeon came 30 minutes later, and informed my sibling that they do not even require the surgery they had been waiting for and changed the diagnosis. Then wait another 30 minutes for a pre-med to admin antibiotics and send my sibling home.

This would have not been such a big issue, but the day before, they were here for 5 hours and told the diagnosis and when to return for surgery.

I am disgusted with my sibling's treatment.
