"Poor communication about procedure"

Earlier this year I had to have a hysteroscopy procedure at Flinders Hospital, I know it was a day procedure but I had to have anaesthesia and no questions asked I was put into overnight stay. It was my first time in a hospital.

I then had to have another gynaecologic procedure done, same thing hysteroscopy, at the same hospital. This time my procedure was cancelled due to me not having a family member to pick me up after day surgery. I was confused and angry that in 6 months I was denied to stay in hospital because I have no one to pick me up early the next day. Then they say to me, we don't do that where we have patients stay overnight for day surgery, which is absolutely not true when I have had the same procedure done less than 6 months ago at the same hospital.

Also when I had my first procedure no one ever told me about me about having family or friends take me home after the procedure. I was due to go into hospital, now I have to wait until I see my normal doctor, and I am in limbo about this procedure, when am I going to have it?
