"Thankful for my parent-in-law's care at Kalyra Belair"

Kalyra Belair has been home for my parent for the past five years and we still can’t find anything to fault!

My parent was very reluctant to even try Respite, until a family member told my parent to treat it like a holiday. It then proved to be an amazing experience for my parent and when we were driving home after respite was over, they said, that’s where I’m going to live!

That same week my parent was offered a permanent placement and they haven't looked back. My parent was welcomed warmly by Natasha, the Director, and later that evening I received a phone call from Meredith, the RN, to let me know that my parent was safely tucked into bed and happily drifting off to sleep.

Such personalised care and attention went above and beyond our expectations and has continued over the years. 

The carers do what their name suggests - they care for the residents and are genuinely interested in ensuring that whatever time these folk have left is quality time.

We can’t thank them enough for providing a place of safety, care, activity and quality meals, so that our loved ones feel at home in this new chapter of their lives.
