"Professional care at The Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital"

About: The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital

(as the patient),

I attended the The Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital today to have a cataract removed and replaced with an intraocular lens (IOL). The experience was highly professional and caring from beginning to end. All staff members involved in my care, whether on the nursing or surgical team, were impressive. Each took the time to build a relationship and to keep me informed about all aspects of the process. Their work was not rushed, yet I moved smoothly through the preparation, surgery and recovery stages more quickly than I had expected.

Dear Almethean,

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this feedback, whilst recovering from your cataract procedure. Our staff strive to always provide professional, timely and safe, best-practise care and so It is truly appreciated when we receive feedback from patients expressing gratitude of a positive experience. It is very much a team effort: from the volunteers, clerical, nursing and medical staff; not forgetting our "behind-the-scenes" staff.

I will certainly pass on your feedback to all teams involved in your care and wish you all the very best for your ongoing recovery and of course improved vision herein.

Kind regards,
