"Excellent care in the Emergency Department at Busselton Health Campus"

About: Busselton Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Recently I had a fall at home. My partner drove me into the Emergency Department. I had abrasions plus an egg sized lump on my head where I headbutted the corner of the brick wall. The triage nurse was very fast to respond and tested me for memory functions etc. I went on to see Dr Ann who checked me for any head trauma or concussion and organised a tetanus shot and patched my knee and checked for damage to my right arm. So a big thank you to the Triage nurse, Dr Ann and the nice nurse who gave me the tetanus shot.

Hi authenticcn38,

I am so sorry to hear of your fall and all the injuries you sustained.

I am so glad that we made you feel a bit better and your treatment was quick and thorough.

I will pass on your story to the nurses who cared for you and Dr Ann who will be delighted to hear of your thanks.

Did the staff provide you any information about Falls, as preventing falls is essential at any age. If you google "Stay on Your Feet" this will take you to a website that has lots of information.

Warm regards
