I don't like that Serco runs the non-clinical services at Fiona Stanley Hospital, I feel that the logistics service is terrible, logistics staff that I have dealt with are rude and yell at me while moving me from my bed to chair. I feel that they are not friendly and not listening to what I want and are very pushy and rush to get me transferred to another ward. I feel it is very disgusting service I have experienced by the Serco logistics staff.

I was sorry to hear of your experience with the logistics service at Fiona Stanley Hospital. Your feedback has been provided to the management staff of the service.

I can advise you that our Internal Logistics Service staff are trained to ensure the welfare of the patient is the central focus of all tasks performed. The staff are very proud of the role they perform in supporting the clinical team and establish a friendly rapport with patients in to help make them feel at ease in what can be a distressing time of their lives. To receive a complaint of this nature regarding the behaviour of Internal Logistics Service personnel is unusual. The greatest proportion of compliments received are regarding the presentation and behaviour of our porters.
