The new Cancer Centre waiting area is light and airy, so much more pleasant than the old crowded waiting room. So well done!
It does, however, have a problem with sound. The acoustics are very poor. When doctors and nurses come to call for patients, their voices are very hard to hear, even, I feel, for those who do not have any hearing disability. This needs to be sorted, the current system is very inefficient with doctors and nurses wandering about in search of their patient at times. Not a good use of professional time. Perhaps a sound and visual display system such as that used by the Road Transport Authority could help solve this problem. I don't imagine that you want to have the doctors and nurses having to shout.
Also with three lovely big screens, it is very boring to have such repetitive notices playing all the time, how about something nice and soothing. National Geographic or some other calming and restful images - please.
