"Rehab in the Home"

I was a patient in RITH - Rehab in the Home recently.  During this time I would like to acknowledge the RITH team who came to my home to ensure that I continue to make progress after my time of rehab in the Fiona Stanely Hospital.

The Physiotherapist Cindy who was responsible for my gym program really tailored my exercises to strengthen my weaknesses as well as working towards meeting my personal goal to walk without any aid. She was not only punctual and professionally competent but was always open to answer any of my questions and to tailor my daily program to what would benefit me the most. I always felt well taken care of and it has been a real joy to work with a professional with a wealth of experience. It is thanks to her and her encouragement that I can now walk. 

The Occupational Therapist Janette, in the short time which she came, was ready to help with many of the practical elements of my personal care.

My thanks also to the Allied Health Worker Rebecca who patiently oversaw my home exercise program when the physio Cindy was unable to come.
