My elderly parent came into the Emergency Department recently. They were light-headed and dizzy.
Although the staff are lovely, I believe they are short-staffed. My parent was there for six hours and no one offered them water or a cup of tea. They were dehydrated by the time they got home and exhausted.
I know you are very busy but I feel that is disgraceful. You are supposed to make people feel better/ I was so upset when my parent told me, but they never want to complain, so I am. Please ensure that people at least have water.
