(as the patient),

I just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful nurses and doctors in your Emergency Department who looked after me recently. Nurse Yvonne,  thank you for being so kind and calm. Thank you Nurse Liz and Doctor Sid for all your help. This is the second time I have been there in the last year and I have to say the care I have received has been exceptional.

This hospital is a great asset to our country community and I am grateful that those who work there are so caring and attentive. I was transferred to Melbourne where I spent a couple days before resting at home. In my opinion, city hospitals just aren't the same. Thanks again.

Dear fornaxdn88,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback and talk about your experience. I know that Yvonne, Liz, Sid and all the ED team will all be really pleased to be acknowledged this way. I agree with you that they are very caring! I have a view that our staff are committed to providing the best of care because they are often caring for their neighbours, families, friends etc. There is something about living in such a tight community that makes health care workers particularly committed. Thank you - I know they will be very appreciative of you feedback.
