About: Geraldton Hospital

(as a service user),

My partner had a slight stroke. We live in a caravan park, and have done for many years. We went through the Geraldton Regional Hospital, and were there for several days. My partner went through the 'Queens' clinic. People were sent from the hospital to see our living area, and have advised the stairs leading into our home are not safe enough and require alterations.

They provided me with a number for an installer who could alter the stairs, but I'm expected to pay for this expensive alteration on a pension. I do not know what my options are for assistance paying this, and have not been given any information by staff. I just want to make our home safe for my partner so they don't fall.
