I'm a professional in the medical field and was horrified by our experience. Almost four hours without seeing a single nurse. The student nurse didn't take my child's vitals. Two medical students took my child's history. The Resident Medical Officer (not sure what level they were), couldn't get blood and looked fatigued and tired.
After asking a child with viral pneumonia to walk to the X-Ray Department, a child with a temperature above 39 degrees who hadn't been offered a drink of water or paracetamol even though we requested them, I wasn't too impressed. Finally, our time had run out, due to the four-hour rule. We were offered a script for antibiotics, even though the pneumonia was viral.
Bad showing PCH. Will be taking my child to another hospital in future.
