"Corneal team"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital

(as the patient),

I have spent the last few weeks at Sydney Eye Hospital due to a recalcitrant corneal. I wish to convey to all members of the corneal team my gratitude for their perseverance, tenacity and dedication, and preserving the sight in my one seeing eye.

Over my time in the hospital I have had ample opportunity to watch the dedicated team of nurses. They have shown kindness, efficiency, cheerfulness and have gone out of their way to ensure my stay at the hospital has been as enjoyable as possible.

I am very grateful to the nurses as well. The food was also excellent. There is a large selection available for each meal and they were always cooked to perfection. Staff delivering the meals are very careful with preparation when they are helping people who have vision impairment.

Dear oriongr63,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and the wonderful feedback on the corneal team, kitchen and nursing staff. The staff are dedicated to delivering the best care using their expertise, compassion and professionalism.

I am glad you found the food excellent as we have recently moved to a new food system and I will ensure your feedback is sent to the Food Manager.

All the best in your continuing recovery.

Kind regards,

Alan Porritt
