"My experience as a patient"

I presented at Casualty recently and left the hospital in the late afternoon.

I was very impressed with the whole process and all the staff I came into contact with.

I had taken a very nasty fall late the night before and had a deep puncture wound to my left side (which required several stitches) and I suspected cracked ribs.

The admission procedure was most efficient, and when I got to the ward (Ward 8) all of the staff were so professional and personable.

The stitches were difficult because the puncture wound was quite jagged.

I would like to record my thanks and appreciation to all the staff I had contact with.
