"Thanks for the great work"

About: Royal Melbourne Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

My teenager was at Melbourne Hospital. They fractured their tibia bone, as a result of that they had an operation. We are happy with the attention our teenager has received at the hospital and the great team of Nurses and Doctor - they look after my teenager.

This was a big experience for my teenager going through operation and the process of recovery. Myself as a parent, I feel the caring and supporting.  I was needing for all the staff members at the hospital. I am grateful and thanks to each one of you for your hard work every day.

Dear corvusrw43,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the care of your teenager. As you correctly identify, being in hospital is an unfamiliar and sometimes scary experience and I am glad that our staff made your family feel cared for and safe. I will certainly make sure our Director of Nursing passes on your thoughts to the staff in our orthopaedic ward and operating room.

Staff always appreciate feedback and I am sure that yours will make their day a little brighter.

Regards,

Prof George Braitberg
