"Disabled parking near entry at rehab service"

About: Sutherland Hospital

(as the patient),

I have just began a rehab session at Sutherland hospital as a sufferer from COPD so I have trouble breathing and walking far away without being puffed out. I was lucky enough to have been given a disabled parking ticket to help with my situation. I have now been informed that these parking spaces are now limited to 30 minutes and the sessions that we do go for 1hr and a half so how does this work? I believe I am not the only one who is suffering from this inconvenience and dealing with a medical condition . I would like the parking to be reconsidered for those in need.

Dear reticulumjx89

SESLHD is awaiting Transport NSW clarification, however, at TSH, Mobility Parking permit users are allowed 4 times the time posted on disabled parking signage.

For example, 30 minutes disabled parking signage permits up to 2 hours of parking for Mobility Parking permit Holders.

Yours sincerely
