"MAPS program At OPH"

About: Osborne Park Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I was part of the MAPS pilot program at Osborne park hospital. Erin was the midwife looking after us for all the antenatal appointments and was wonderful. Having had our first baby at OPH and a different midwife at every antenatal appointment it was really nice to have one midwife looking after us all the way through for this second baby. It was great having Erin to organise all the appointments with her and we even managed to have some on the weekends due to her schedule. Was great having a single point of contact for any questions or queries between appointments. Also allowed Erin to get to know us so she was able to provide continued care, we really liked the program and really would love to see it continue for others.

Dear indigofp38

Congratulations on the birth of your second baby and thank you for sharing your experience with the Maternity Antenatal Postnatal Service (MAPS) at Osborne Park Hospital. It sounds like Erin was an incredible support for you during your pregnancy journey! Your experience highlights the benefits of continuity of care with a compassionate and knowledgeable midwife who can provide clear information and support.

We will certainly share your kind words with Erin, and I'm sure she will be very pleased to hear how comfortable and well-cared-for you felt.

Wishing you and your family all the best,

Karen
