"Paediatric ward scrubs"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Bunbury Paediatric Ward

(as a parent/guardian),

I just wanted to say how nice it is to see the nurses in the paediatric ward wearing child relatable scrubs. This has made a scary experience for our child a little less intimidating when they see their nurse wearing fun, colourful scrubs.

Also on a side note, if Bunbury hospital ED could get a waiting area for children that would be great. We had a recent experience at night where many of the people in ED were displaying behaviours that I believe a child shouldn't have to see. In particular a person sitting next to us banging their head against the wall.

Thanks

Dear Emergency

I do hope your child has now recovered from their experience in hospital.

Thank you for your feedback, especially your suggestions regarding a waiting area for children. We are about to undergo renovations and appreciate your feedback.

The paediatric ward is an inviting area with staff who do work on ensuring that children have a positive stay whilst in hospital.

Once again thank you for your feedback and best wishes for your child's recovery.

Thanks,

Karen Horsley

Service Co-Director
