Two days before i got something into my eye and it wasn't getting better. When i blinked it was painful and i kept waking up at night due to the pain. I was treated by Prakshi at Sydney Eye Hospital on the long weekend at around 10am.
After seeing the nurse, Dr Prakshi put orange drops in my eye then examined it to see if there were scratches in my eyeball which she identified were present. On close examination with microscope she spotted a 'splinter' sticking-out on the underside of my eyelid. This was removed quickly with the aid of tweezers whilst using the microscope as it was quite small but visible once removed. My eye immediately felt better and she prescribed an ointment to stop any infection. Many thanks to the team at the eye hospital for fitting me into the busy schedule and particularly Prakshi for making my eye better.
