"Rude Nurse"

About: Albany Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I have several chronic health conditions. On a good day I'm still at a level I believe most people would present to ED with. I was in recently - and believe a nurse in ED should really watch their mouth. Saying things like "oh this one is well known to ed department drs" in a sarcastic tone was so uncalled for. It's not the first time this nurse has made rude comments when I have come in.

I battle health conditions everyday and living in Albany is already a struggle with awful awful health care. I have a right to be paranoid when I was sent away once with anxiety only to end up having a brain operation and another time being told to take mylanta when my bowel had perforated.

I feel like one day ill die at this hospital... or outside of it because some nurses I've seen make presenting to ED the worst experience imaginable. To be judged by people who are supposed to care or help is the worst feeling in the world. I believe they should have some empathy and if they spent one day in my body they would be at ED as well.
