About: Lives Lived Well - Woolloongabba

(as a service user),

For many years I have been dealing with auditory hallucinations and noise in general which bothers my daily life. My coping mechanism when I was angry was to use drugs.

Noise

Noise

The Lives Lived Well day program has helped me refresh my memory and be aware of my emotions and how to cope with them. To be aware of my character strengths rather then my downfalls. To be aware of how a small decission not properly thought through can lead to a relapse.

Hello,

Firstly, thank you for your extreme vulnerability in sharing your experiences, it is always powerful to hear.

I am really glad that you had a positive experience with the Day Program team and have brushed-up on some skills during the 12 days.

Congratulations on completing and remember that we are always here if you want to reach out in the future.

Kris
