"Knee Replacement"

About: SMHS Rehabilitation In The Home (RITH)

(as the patient),

I recently had a knee replacement and when I came home from hospital RITH sent a Physio out to assist me. I’m in my ‘80’s and live alone. This is my 6th joint replacement so am fairly familiar with the aftercare and need for exercise. The young Physio visited me three times over 2 weeks and was very good with the exercises and left me a detailed list of exercises to do each day. I am now 6 weeks post surgery and although still a bit painful the knee is going well and more to the point I am happy with it and the help from RITH so thankyou.
