About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

When I fell pregnant I was so glad that I was with the MGP 5 team. From the moment I was pregnant up until the postnatal care. Belinda was amazing and the rest of MGP 5 for my birth and to see how much care and passion was given was incredible.

It was a really good feeling that I had the same midwife throughout my pregnancy as she knew everything about me and my needs/wants and if there was any concerns I could always call and let her know.

I felt that as it was my first pregnancy I thought I was really well taken care of and how the system worked. I hope the more people they get the more people of the community would benefit from the MGP service. Cannot fault the MGP team and would do it all over again with the same team.

Dear cafews33,

Congratulations on the birth of your first baby – what an exciting time! I am so happy to hear about your positive experience with our Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) and the incredible care you received from your midwife, Belinda. You have highlighted beautifully the benefits of having that continuity of care from the same midwife throughout your pregnancy, and the reassurance this brings.

We will be sure to pass on your kind words of appreciation to Belinda and the MGP 5 team.

Wishing you and your family all the best.

Delaney
