I would love to commend the nurses and drs who helped my son from about 5pm on Friday last week. Unfortunately I am shocking with names. My son is non speaking, ASD 3, and has combined ADHD. The staff were lovely and understanding, especially the nurse with the uk accent and the lady dr who was wearing a scarf and mask. They were run off their feet but took the time to listen to us in regards of how to treat him, including looking up his records to find out which sedation has previously been a success.
He had been kicked by a horse and was scared and in pain, and they respected his unique way of communicating and were sweet and kind with him and us. What was a terrifying accident was made less awful by their genuine kindness and care. Well done guys! My son is recovering well at home and is almost back to his bouncy self already 🙌🏼
