"A huge thank you to Geraldton Regional Hospital"

I was admitted to Geraldton Reginal Hospital last month after nearly drowning while snorkelling with my son at Lucky Bay. after i was pulled from the water i started having chest pains. 

i would like to say a massive thank you to all the nurses in ward 2D. they all went above and beyond. the compassion and kindness they showed me while i was in their care made it so much easier to deal with the tumor i had just been through. 

it was the small things like easter morning when the morning nurse came on made the effort to say happy easter to every patient and give a small chocolate egg. for some one like me that had never been away from my family for easter, and was quiet emotional made my day.  

whenever i felt overwhelmed and emotional there was a nurse on hand to settle me and ensure i was ok.
