"Feeling like death warmed up"

About: Cohuna District Hospital

(as the patient),

I was suffering from non stop coughing, loss of voice, rigors and extremely tired.  I'd been vomiting on and off but it was the coughing that did me in.  The hospital was amazing, the staff brilliant and very prompt and attentive.  They put me at ease, diagnosed me with an upper respiratory tract infection.  They arranged for the pharmacy to fill my script and wait till my partner got there as it was closing time.  I think things couldn't have gone better.  Thank you to the amazing nurses on last Sunday morning.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about the great CARE you received from our team at CDH. I am glad to hear you are doing well. Winter is a tough time so we have reverted to using masks for a few more weeks to ensure our staff remain healthy and keep our community safe and well. Don't hesitate to attend UCC if you are unwell.
