"Left on wet bed for few hours"

As a patient following surgery at 6pm, transferred to my room around 9pm,asked for help to go toilet. I was unstable on my feet, in pain, I was given a bedpan the nurse lifted and spilled it’s contents on my bed, I asked for change bedding, nurse put a pad and left me on a soaking of urine bed, my blanket was wet, my gown was wet, my bedding was stinking.

I asked for the bedding to be changed, I was seemingly ignored until next morning when a new shift started. The new nurse changed the bedding.

I believe there is not care at all by that nurse, it is appalling, disgraceful, undignified. The nurse knew they left me like that but in my opinion, couldn’t care at all.
