"Disappointment with delays and no updates"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital / Dermatology Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I am just sharing my disappointment with the delays in my teenager's treatment, first in actioning their referral and now getting listed at the Day Medical Procedures for a biopsy for their alopecia. My teenager's condition has gone worst since their referral.

They had their initial appointment regarding their alopecia two months ago. We were told they'll be getting an appointment for a biopsy in the coming days but we haven't heard anything back from the hospital since then, despite contacting the hospital multiple times.

We are at our wit's end seeing out teenager lose bunches of hair every day. We have got no updates where they stand in the hospital system and why is there so much delay. I feel it is totally unacceptable.
