"A long road to recovery"

About: Kambalda Health Centre

(as a carer),

My husband has been having his foot vacc dressed after amputation, this has been hard to deal with and really stressful as there are other ongoing medical issues as well. We live in Kambalda a small mining town 60 kms from Perth, we have a small medical centre and the most wonderful nurses and staff who make us feel totally welcome in every way.

Special mention to Beth and Zoe our lovely nurses and staff for always being so enthusiastic and efficient in everything they do for us, they are like family now.

Dear statusdc53

It gave me great pleasure reading your story and being able to share with the Kambalda Community Health & wider teams. We are fortunate to have an amazing team in Kambalda (600km from Perth) who value the importance of relationships within communities whilst providing the best standard of care. It was a pleasure meeting you at the Kambalda centre whilst you were receiving dressing/Telehealth assistance and your appreciation of the staff & services long term support.

Thank you for your post it is very much appreciated, and we wish you well in your ongoing health journey.

Kind regards

Tanya Walker
Coordinator of Nursing - Population Health
