"MGP first birth"

I had a wonderful experience in the MGP program in Karratha. My midwife LeAnne was excellent and I felt confident that I was receiving the best care during my pregnancy. Being my first baby, I really valued the continuity of care. I am an anxious person but went into the birth feeling calm because I knew I would have my midwife there who I trusted. LeAnne gave me plenty of guidance when I wanted it and also allowed us space to make decisions about the kind of birth we wanted. I did the hypnobirthing course at the hospital and felt prepared and excited in the weeks before. The birth was everything I could have hoped for and more. I had confidence in the process and understood what to expect during the birth which contributed to my positive experience. I highly recommend the MGP program, particularly for parents navigating the system for the first time.
