About: Kununurra Hospital / Emergency Department Kununurra Hospital / Maternity Ward Royal Flying Doctor Service

(as the patient),

Our family would like to extend our deepest thanks to all the staff at Kununurra Hospital who were involved in a recent unpredictable and traumatic emergency last week. Your compassion, professionalism, and swift actions during a sudden, life-threatening situation were nothing short of remarkable. We are incredibly lucky to have such knowledgeable doctors, nurses and midwives etc in such a small rural hospital in the East Kimberley. Such a devastating turn of events but now mum and baby are doing well and on the road to recovery.

Also to Royal Flying Doctor staff, I just want to say thank you for being there in our time of need - to all involved your kindness and professionalism mean the world to us! We will be forever grateful ❤️

Dear telescopiumje36,

Thank you for sharing your story and appreciation of the team.

We are very happy to hear both mum and baby are doing well and are grateful you as a family felt supported through this life changing and frightening event.

Rest assured your thanks will be passed on to the team.

These situations can sometimes play on your minds and we as a team continue to offer our support if you feel the need to have a debrief of events.

Congratulations from the team on the birth of your beautiful baby.

Hanneke
